Turing/Exeter Data Study Group

In association with The Alan Turing Institute, the Defence Data Research Centre (DDRC) in partnership with IDSAI are running a Data Study Group, based on Streatham Campus at The University of Exeter.

Abstract

The structure of the data study group:


• Stage 1: Monday 4th September – Friday 8th Sept 2023: The Precursor Stage (part-time) and online. Including online workshops, presentations and team building which will prepare participants for the 'event stage'


• Main Event: Monday 11th September – Friday 15th Sept: Event Stage (full-time). Group work begins on our set Challenge of “Toxin diagnosis by cellular morphology”.

We are seeking applications now from those data scientists who would like to be part of the data study group. To take part you need to have a background in data science and be willing to apply your knowledge and expertise to a new challenge that you will work on as part of a team.  We welcome applications from early career researchers, including PhD students and postdocs.
